The Lego Movie 2 Video Game, is a unique game. It possesses many traits from normal Lego games. However, the building mechanic has completely changed. Now you have a planet called Apocolypsistar, which is essentially a Lego Worlds area where you can build anything you have in your instruction manuals. The character mechanics have changed almost entirely. In Lego Worlds, none of the characters have powers unique to themselves. Instead, anyone can use all of the powers equally. In LM2 it is essentially the same thing. There is a major downside though, the story. While the story is fun, it feels way too short and cuts out half of the story that is in the movie. If you are a fan of the free play mode in Lego games this game is for you, if you are more a fan of the stories, I suggest saving your money.
